FIELD DAY2010

It's time to get in our Field Day logs and put in links to pictures.  The First link is to the Narc at Lock two, but we would love to put up your link as well.  You need not be a club, but the pictures do need to be  uploaded in an amateur radio or field day specific page or folder.

MANY OF THE GROUPS WHO USE THE LIST TO SEND INVITATIONS STATE WIDE WILL START THERE EFFORT ON THE 1ST OF JUNE SO BE THERE IF YOU WANT TO BE SCENE.

Sorry if you missed the in person class while it was being taught live at the disaster headquarters.
 The materials taught that were taught were, Disaster Services Technologies, new series of introductory workshops , nicknamed DST 101.
These intro units are needed to be assigned on future Red Cross deployments. .  Please use the email  address DST101@usa.redcross.org. to register for a future class online

WWhen your trying to listen in on nets for infortmation out of a international  disaster, try 7.045 and 3.720 MHz (IARU Region 2 nets), 14.265, 7.265 and 3.977 MHz (SATERN nets), and 14.300 MHz (Intercontinental Assistance and Traffic Net); the International Radio Emergency Support Coalition (IRESC) is also active on EchoLink node 278173.   In the event of an emergency keep these frequencies clear.
